  • Practical advice, tips, or reflections related to diagnosis, treatment, side effects, or life with cancer.

  • Other supportive content intended to help people navigate their own journey.

Please do not submit content that is abusive, hateful, illegal, or that promotes unproven cures as guarantees.

2. Protecting Privacy

When you submit content:

  • Please avoid including full names, addresses, or identifying details of other people without their explicit permission.

  • You may choose how you wish to be credited (e.g., full name, first name + initial, or anonymous), where that option is provided.

3. Permission You Grant Us

By submitting content through our forms, email, or other channels, you:

  • Confirm that the content is your own story or advice, or that you have permission to share it.

  • Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, edit, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your content in any medium now known or later developed, including but not limited to:

    • This website

    • Books, journals, and related print or digital publications

    • Marketing materials, social media, and presentations related to the project

We may lightly edit your submission for clarity, length, or anonymity while preserving its meaning.

4. Commercial Use

You understand and agree that:

  • Your submission may be used in materials that are sold, such as books, journals, or other products.

  • You will not receive financial compensation or royalties for the use of your submission, even if it appears in commercially sold works.

  • Your contribution is a voluntary act meant to help and support others.

5. How We Attribute Your Submission

Where appropriate and where you have indicated a preference, we may attribute your submission using:

  • Your full name,

  • Your first name and last initial, or

  • “Anonymous”

We may also include descriptors like “patient,” “caregiver,” or “advocate” if you provide them.

6. Our Right to Decline or Remove

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to:

  • Decline to use any submission.

  • Remove or edit content that we believe may be harmful, misleading, or inappropriate.
